International Delegates
ATTENTION PLEASE: For those international delegates that require visa letters. The Global Youth Assembly will no longer issue visa letters after June 26, 2009.
For our international delegates coming from overseas, welcome and glad to have you on board for this exciting adventure! Please read this carefully before you register!
For delegates coming from abroad requiring visas, DO NOT REGISTER until you have received your visa. To make this easier for yourself and for the conference organizers, please ask us for a visa letter by sending an email to international@youthassembly.ca with the following information:
- Surname, Name
- Other Name
- Passport Number
- Nationality
- Sex
- Country of Residence
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you registered before receiving your visa and your application is denied, the standard terms and conditions for cancellation and refunds apply. Please refer to the terms and conditions for details.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada has a handy list of offices accepting application forms based on country. We strongly recommend that you look up this information and the details of your application as we cannot assist in this regard. We can only provide visa letters.

Please note! Due to the high volume of requests we get per day, it might take us some time to process your request. We ask for your patience and understanding while we work hard to create your letter.
Once you’ve received your visa and have registered, the International Hosting Team will be sending you a welcome package outlining what to expect when you come to Edmonton including a weather guide, transportation information and will be available to assist you should you have any questions, comments or concerns.
